We are currently seeking an Information Security Engineer. Qualified candidates must have the following qualifications: Experience in security Certification and Accreditation throughout the life cycle process. Experience in preparation and updating Security Certification and Accreditation throughout the life cycle process. Must be familiar with NIST documents. Understanding of vulnerability scanning using various tools (Nessus, NMAP, Foundscan) Analysis of technical vulnerability remediation solutions for information assurance, access controls, system auditing, logging, etc. Review scanning tools scan results, analyze the recommended mitigation and apply recommendations to the operational support and testing environments. Will report to FAA Program Manager. Possess a Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college university in computer science, MIS, with a minimum of ten years of experience of which at least 3 in security engineering. Travel to the FAA Tech Center in New Jersey and Washington DC on a regular basis, and possibly other FAA Tech Centers.
